HEY Business, Growth and Skills Hub

The HEY Business, Growth and Skills Hub has taken over responsibility for the various economic and skills development activities and initiatives of the former HEY LEP. The HEY Business, Growth & Skills Hub will develop the initial foundations of the prospective HEY Mayoral Combined Authority, which could be formed as early as the winter of 2024/25.

The Hub has the following key areas of focus:

• Business Support via the HEY Growth Hub and Investment Programmes

• Workforce and Skills Development, including work on the HEY Adult Education Budget and the Careers Hub in partnership with our Local Authorities

• Coordinating Inward Investment and Exporting Activity

• Providing advice around decarbonisation and Net Zero via the Net Zero hub.

• Working with partners on developing the Hull & East Yorkshire regional economy and skills base.
